Course Description:
This board approved course meets and exceeds the Dental Board of California (DBC) requirements for a comprehensive review of the board mandated California Dental Practice Act (CDPA) for license renewal for all dental professionals: dentist, hygienists, RDAs et al. the California Code of Regulation 1600 before each license renewal period.
The course reviews governing board basics, statutory mandates about the scope of dental practice for auxiliaries, laws and prescription of controlled drugs, mandatory abuse reporting requirements, license renewal information, ethics and the law for dental professionals. This course also includes 2022 board updates and alerts from the Dental Board, including new requirements for Controlled Substances / CURES.
